The Republicans in Congress could stop this anytime they wanted to, they would have full Democratic support. They. Are. Just. Fine. With. This. President.

I suppose they think it will keep going up like this for the next 3 years. Hahahah.

I don't see any macroeconomic indicators that suggest the market valuation is inherently flawed.

If you have seen other opinions, could you point me to them?

This isn't like the 90's where stock values skyrocketed over what a company could be, rather than what it was actually doing.

Before that day it's all about solid market valuation.

They still have to be afraid of voters, it seems. As long as that is true, they can't possibly be sleeping very well.

Trumpie can survive.

They think they can finally abolish the Estate tax with an alleged R in there. That's worth millions to the select few. Especially Trumpie.

To see how outraged they were at everything Obama did and now to see them stand silent when "one of their own" does far worse is pretty demoralizing and disheartening.

But as Trump's big flashy (and incredibly stupid) policies continue to crash and burn over and over again, the GOP can point to it and say, "We haven't got any major legislation done, we can't get anything done!"

Meanwhile: They've got a super right-winger on SCOTUS to replace Scalia, and thanks to McConnell and the Federalist Society, they've managed to appoint so many super right-wing judges for life that it will change the legal landscape in the USA for at least decades to come.

At the same time, they've put a climate change denier in charge of the EPA, Betsy DeVos in charge of education, and Ben Carson in charge of HUD, all with the express purpose of letting those agencies fail just to "prove" that private enterprise can do it better.

For sure The Donald is the birdie that the media is watching while the GOP loots and pillages.

The repukes have been saying that to the dems for years. Turn it back on them, especially for the god awful tax plan they are thinking about.
