Something Trump is doing that he doesn't want to do. Destroying the "Brand"

Perhaps in the past, that brand had "some" worth. For whatever reason, the name meant something or "rich" or exclusive.

Now, except for a dwindling number, it means s**t. Or crap, or awful. Why stay in a hotel when the first thought is an awful one about the hotels owner. Kinda like a food that makes you puke...

So as Trump continues to tweet and say totally insensitive things, he is killing the "brand." Not only for himself, but for his family. When the indictments arrive, (and they will) this "brand death" will become obvious and names of hotels and resorts will be changed. Trump's family may care, but Trump doesn't. While that may make sense to Donny boy, it makes no sense to a family with a "brand name."

Another thought. I am glad, because this couldn't happen to a bigger group of as***les.

He only amplified his lying, chaotic, vindictive nature for everyone to see. Nobody wants to be associated with those things.

Best part is, his base can't afford to patronize his properties, so it's the beginning of the end for the tRump brand.

People are using it to curry favor in all kinds of unsavory and unconstitutional ways.

Imagine how it will crash and burn when he is no longer in office. Especially if he leaves office in disgrace.

If he was smart, he would negotiate a buy-out under the excuse of it being a conflict of interest. It will never be worth more than it is right now and he could come off looking like he actually cared.

Then again, when you start a sentence with "if he were smart..." the rest of the statement is pretty irrelevant.

12. I agree with Naomi Klein's program of attack/devalue Trump's brand to get him to resign

His brand is his fortune. When being president looses him billions in his brand's reputation/ value, he'll resign to salvage what's left before it goes to zero.
Klein has a multi level program of citizen actions to accelerate t Trump's loss in value. Very smart & possibly the most effective way to get him to resign.

I have never seen it as a "status" brand, but now it's a downright embarrassment.
