Wishful Thinkiing

Much has been said about Bannon's move to primary nearly every single Republican for being insufficiently evil.

I would like to suggest that every single one of them commit to running as an Independent if they lose the Primary.

A lot of different things could happen and all are better than the alternative.

- The Bannon candidate could potentially still win but only after fighting a costly and damaging two front war that would be fun to watch.

- The incumbent could win in which case we would be no worse off than now but with a great deal less GOP loyalty

- Best case, a split of the vote could be an opening for a Democrat.

Hey, Lieberman did it to us and we had to kiss his ass for 6 years so turn about is fair play.
