Trump Just Asked The Owner Of A Hockey Team To Renegotiate NAFTA. His Reaction Is Priceless!

The President of the United States welcomed the Stanley Cup-winning Pittsburgh Penguins to the White House today, and his celebration speech immediately went off the rails.

Trump, his mind still stuck on his back-and-forth with Canada over the North American Free Trade Agreement, offered the owner of the Penguins, Ron Burkle, a chance to renegotiate the trade deal.

“He’s a friend of mine for a long time. A great, great negotiator. Ron, how about negotiating some of our horrible trade deals that they’ve made?

And it’s great to have you Ron. But I really mean that, if you want to get involved in negotiating NAFTA, I like it. Because we’re renegotiating NAFTA, Ron.”

rescued. Its inconceivable to me that when Trump decided to open the NAFTA can of worms that he didn't already have an A-list team of trade experts and world class negotiators ready to go with working proposals and better terms. That not Trumps style, he fling by the seat of his pants and just trying to wing it, so in desperation he reaches out to the owner of a hockey team to renegotiate a vital international trade deal that he's already screwed up.
