my mom told me our fight for basic human rights wasn’t over. In my twenties, I thought she was being dramatic. She was so so so right.

Try that one out on somebody…

If you are against birth-control then you are pro-abortion.

If you are against gun control then you are anti-life.

If you are against universally available prenatal care then you’re anti-baby and anti-mother.

The Republican philosophy as it is being expressed today is anti-everything that is human.

The only thing I can see that the Republicans are for is the accumulation of wealth at the expense of everything else.

it's more important now than ever that women are informed and vote.

I tell nonvoting friends (and yes, I understand that the GOPee and their lackeys in the corporate media work to make politics unappetizing) that politics impacts every aspect of their lives, that for democracy to function the populace needs to be informed and participate, and that it takes a lot less time to educate yourself and vote than to spend the rest of your life living paying for GOPee policies--the elimination of low-cost state college education and resultant often decades-long student loan burden being an obvious example. Women's reproductive health issues are another.

then you are pro-poverty because if there is a ticket to poverty it's early parenthood.

And yet, how many women voted for Trump or vote for the GOP..... is it that just democrat women need healthcare and the GOP women don't?
