Anyone else find this strangely ironic?

That the right wing denounces socialism but embraces national socialism? Isn't that weird?

Also to distance themselves from Hitler. Oh, no, what they believe isn't anything like that terrible National Socialism. How dare we call them Nazis? Nazis were really socialists or communists. It's the left wing people who are the Nazis. Of course, some right wing people are just very ignorant, never having bothered to learn the meaning of the word "fascism" or the bitter enmity between the Nazis and the socialists/communists (especially after the failed effort at an alliance between Hitler and Stalin).
