Seriously, how can you do one without destroying the public support for the other?

(46,709 posts)So, Trump is looking to circumvent the legislative process. And it's obvious he's doing it to justify tax reform.
Think about it. He blamed Puerto Rico for ruining the budget. Now he's trying to find a win because Republicans need that tax reform if they want to appease their donors.

(182,803 posts)Just yesterday he basically said that the stock market gains have reduced the national debt.
Then his EO to allow cross state policies defied the insurance industry itself which wants nothing to do with this. Plans are developed specific to the region they are being marketed in with the overarching factors being income, general health of the area, and cost of providing service. These can be different within states let alone across the country.
Now he cuts the subsidies which were the only thing keeping people in plans.
He's a moron.
