Get ready. This is what your Fox/Limbaugh types are going to be posting/emailing ad nauseum:

I'm posting here immediately after watching 2/3 of the video and haven't researched who this Star Parker woman is. I've seen her before, in a video about welfare moms that the right was emailing like crazy.

It's so infuriating that they have the impression that EVERYONE is lazy and wants "someone to take care of them." I know there are people who take advantage of the system (hell, Romney and his ilk do it, too ), but to act like everyone who isn't a Limbaugh/Fox News conservative wants a "welfare state" and to always be on the dole is and to lure others to be on the dole....shit, I don't have words any more.

I must remember that interacting with anyone who watches/listens to Fox/Limbaugh isn't anyone I can deal with at all. Not about anything of importance. If I try to respond any more, I'll lose my mind for sure. There is zero common ground.

who were actually decent people until they started listening to Limbaugh.

But you're right: It's not worth it.

Thanks for the warning.

...ignores the basic fact that it's more of a sad, pathetic state as to what companies are willing to pay than it is that welfare is so generous.

If it's easier for someone to pay their basic bills using welfare than it is with a full time job then something is wrong with the job market not with welfare.

Without the threat of starvation and homelessness, they would not be motivated, that is why they are so against welfare and treat those few who abuse it like they are the norm.

It's like when they call jail "three hots and a cot." Like it is fun to be in jail, you have your basic needs met and don't have to work. It's something they are afraid they would do.

Yet they always claim to work hard. They protest too much. They are the ones who are afraid they won't work hard unless they absolutely have to.

remind me... because it seems that we have two growing trends again on DU. Posting attacks on Obama courtesy of right wing sites, as "education" for us.

Or posting random polls that are unfavorable to Obama, as "education" for us.

Really... I thought most of us agreed not to post this shit.

I have a moment of weakness and want to vent to like-minded souls, and posted to share something that upset me, without thinking it to death as to whether someone would attack me for posting.

I don't need Limbaugh or Fox News types.

I don't need this either.

Just use discernment for shit you don't want to read, especially when it's not some trolling thing.

I was responding to progressivebydesign.

It's my own damn fault. If I'm frustrated about something -- and this video definitely did it tonight -- I don't need to post at DU.

My bad.

No worries though.
