"She didn't want to know what was inside"

This was said in passing on MSNBC yesterday, so I don't have a link, and unfortunately I don't remember the source.

It was a discussion of Sgt. La David Johnson's wife and how she was told that she would not be able to have an open casket ceremony for her husband, and that she didn't want to know what was inside the casket after hearing it.

I lack the words to describe the depths of inhumanity possessed by our "president." Instead, I'll let MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle speak for me when it comes to the four fallen soldiers.

has changed the rules of engagement so he can get a win?

We know he will gladly let thousands of our men and women die if it means a win.

Now you can't look at the body.

A complete investigation into this fiasco is warranted

I read the French were not pre warned and had to scamble to ready themselves to go in to the rescue because these soldiers were not protected with thier own military backup, and in open trucks
Electronics indicated he was alive after they pulled out.
Hope some changes are made so this doesn't happen again . Ten days ago I read this statement below but nothingmuch more since about what happened I may have missed further inquiries.
Does anyone know is the administration trying to avoid investigation or mention of the actual attack as much as naming the fallen? Media following this or burying it?

"According to U.S. officials, details about the exact timeline for the rescue effort are still unfolding. The troops were evacuated by French aircraft."

mamie till was told that she couldnt look at the body. she broke into the padlocked coffin. she did not recognize her son. she went over his body inch by inch to make sure it was him and to catalogue his injuries.
then she insisted on an open casket funeral.
a stronger woman i cannot imagine.

i hope someone in this soldiers life is that strong. or at least someone makes sure he gets an independent autopsy.

The loss of a single life is always tragic, but the sense that they were not only list but they, and we, have been abandoned by the uncaring bastard in command, has gotten to us all.
