in Niger because one of them was not found for two days? And then they wanted a few days buffer so people would forget one soldier had been left behind in the initial evacuation? After all they went after Hillary because of what she could not control in Benghazi so they would have been projecting their own 'attack/exploit any foreign policy loss/fog' they did to Obama and Clinton onto Democrats. And really Democrats don't behave that way. CNN is on it.

(51,076 posts)dotard simply doesn't give a fuck about any of our women and men in uniform. He is a disgrace and not much more
Even his family is distancing themselves from him

(14,961 posts)there, something about cheap oil. I don't know if it is possible fake news, if it's not a fake story it makes sense why he would be so afraid of this story. No one even knew our military was there, either way there is a whole lot more to this story.

(118,676 posts)There is growing Islamic terrorism in North Africa and it will only get bigger if we don't stop them now. I don't want to see anyone fight and die. But I more don't want to see 13 year old girls kidnapped. Unfortunately we are at war. I am in no way saying the US should not have been there. Or that a failed rescue of one man out of many is Trump's fault. I'm just wondering if the issue here is that the Trump White House and Republicans are so cynical because they themselves are so calculating that they can no longer govern properly.

(7,142 posts)when did we declare war against Niger? There is more to this story than leaving a soldier on the battlefield, Trump can just blame some general for that. Something doesn't smell right in Niger.

(1,832 posts)... but there are lots of them in Mali, including from Denmark and other smaller donors. There was some contoversy about it, and Denmark sent a lot fewer than planned. Niger is the biggest country of West Africa, and USA has a drone launching base there. France and Russia are both mining uranium - seems like anything can happen...

I think it us as simple as the are incompetent/don't give a fuck and if an R senator rep reaches out they might call, if a D senator or rep reaches out they likely ignor it.

(9,426 posts)close track of stories such as this when President Obama was in office. Jumped on EVERYTHING. Now, they jump on everything so they can cover it up. WHEN will voters wake up?
