VA officials decided not to issue the new IDs to veterans with other-than-honorable discharges, upsetting advocates.

I was surprised by the number of respondents who sided with Trump on the national anthem issue. I’m a veteran, and I side with the players.

The bottom line here is that the wife and mother felt insulted and disrespected by the remarks and by the tone. None of you here defending Trump by trying to recast his remarks by your own light is missing the point. The other main thing as others have pointed out, is that if he himself felt the remarks were appropriate, then why the denial ? Why the lie ?

Reading the comments below was frustrating. There were some good ones, but it amazing how blind and stupid some members of the military can be.
