Bush speaks on divisive state of American politics

I'm watching his speech on CNN right now (from the George W Bush Institute). He sounds like a genius and a true leader compared to Trump. I used to hate Bush with a fiery passion, but I would gladly take him over Trump right now. At least he doesn't act like a toddler, and he's willing to listen to people with expertise.

Hopefully he feels some remorse over that and accepts some responsibility for it. Unlike Trump, some people are willing to admit they were wrong.

I know, that should just be a given, but it's not with Trump.

If Bush believes this, then why he is supporting Ed Gillespie for Virginia Governor! Since Gillespie is using Trump tactics and seeking support from racist Prince William County Supervisor Corey Stewart!

Or is he speaking about the divisive state of politics without mentioning which party (or forces in control of it) are driving the division?

When the ball is on the 5-yard line, it’s kind of tiresome to get a lecture about how there’s turf on both sides.
