I wonder if this a ploy to distract from the bigger issues?

The way I look at it, the only weapon he has, the only weapon he uses politically is words. And the more he lies, the less those words mean to anyone. He's tweeting himself, gradually, out of any power at all. More and more people are calling out on the lies. More and more his tweets aren't impressing anyone. He's erasing himself. The only one he impresses is himself. He will be no more influential than any other right wing grandpa sitting in his recliner and yelling at the TV.
