It's been speculated that N.K. now has ICBM's that can reach the West Coast and they are estimated to have roughly 15 nuclear weapons.

Before the election, after the election, and throughout this entire nightmare I’ve been telling people that North Korea was going to be the flashpoint. It really didn’t take a genius to see that to tell you the truth.

I’m very frightened at this point. The Republicans are so focused on getting their tax cut through that to them nothing else matters. They don’t seem to be able to pull their heads out long enough to realize that if we cross the line with North Korea— probably nothing else is really going to matter.

Republicans and all of their mindless adherents have become some sort of a apocalyptic death cult.

I wish I could say there was some sort of leadership here but there really isn’t.

But its doubtful we would use bombers for a first strike on North Korea. Putting the B52's back on ready alert is posturing. They aren't launching them at North Korea unless we have control of the airspace. NK air defenses range from really old to current tech, but they have a ton of it and in multiple layers. B52's would have a hard time surviving. Any first strike against NK will come from a sub in the pacific.

Both stealthy and/or fast enough to beat NK air defenses. Whether they drop conventional nuclear munitions is a whole other story. B-52s would go in after the air defenses were knocked out by stealth craft for saturation bombing, since NK has no air force to speak of.

Any kind of ICBM launch would be WAY too easy for either China or Russia to misinterpret as intended for them, which would lead to WW3 😬

That's a good point. China and Russia couldn't misinterpret stealth bomber's courses as they might ICBMs.
