Which was right in the middle of the Great Depression.

Let's see:

1. Republicans control both Houses of Congress and the Presidency in the 1920's, and the USA gets the Great Depression
2. Republicans control both Houses of Congress and the Presidency in the 2000's, and the USA gets the Great Recession
3. Republicans control both Houses of Congress and the Presidency in the 2010's, and the USA gets ???

This should be a talking point that the Dems relentlessly hammer home. Every time they have had complete control of the government, the USA gets royally fucked.
