Stealing an election and committing mass murder in the Middle East is a little more than a "flaw".

That usually went to Haliburton or a subsidiary.

Dickless Cheney made a small fortune on that trumped up war.

"I'd like it to finally happen..."

Then try. Passively hearing what one immediately dismisses does even less than failing.

If you'd like it to finally happen, then try.

The GOP has not "melted down" until they are no longer an existing and viable party in the American political landscape.

As of right now, despite everyone rejoicing in two members being fed up and walking out, the sad fact is they will most likely be replaced by two Republicans who are even worse.

So that's the problem. They are not "melting down" nor are they even injured. They are in full command of the government and behind the scenes gleeful that we think they are done as a working political party.

Oh, wait....but this isn't really what interests you, is it? You get your jollies shitting on random DU posters and to regale us with your linguistic and thesaurical command of the English language by nitpicking replies on a completely META level.

Yes, I know, "thesaurical" might not even be a real word.

So go ahead, echo echo echo.

i think we can all see things, more clearly now than we ever could before, heading that way.

but hopefully it's not too late to turn away from that.

i agree, though, that may yet come to pass. and if it does, yes, his supporters will be seen very much like other murderous tyrants and their sycophants and ignorant supporters.

but it remains to be seen just how much lasting damage he inflicts on this country and on the world.

for now, shrub has inflicted more damage, though donnie certainly has the potential to vastly outdo shrub on that score.

Nixon, Bush II, Chamberlain, or Hoover are better peers as they all left behind a horrible mess for their successor and were inept, corrupt, or both.

There's not much being done about our compromised electoral process - not enough to secure 2018 & who knows what kind of government we'll have by then, looking at the damage he's done in the past 9 months. Mueller is feeling more like Fitzmas. I could see the Con winning 2020 with 97% of the popular vote. There was a FB or Twitter meme a few weeks ago.

Wonder what you would have done during Nazi Germany? You're doing it now.

People think it can't happen here, but it is.

They seem to have no shortage of semi-warm bodies to get elected or appointed to positions high enough to do real damage to their fellow-Americans.

And the biggest problems are the voters themselves. There’s an entire zombie army out there that’s terrified and enraged (by their daily crap-media diet), and they’ll vote for the worst of the worst, as we have seen.

to give Republicans a strong taste of their own medicine so that they are not tempted to lie, cheat, and steal again?

We need to think outside of the box. We should be sinking everything we have into the midterms and working on impeachment.

It boggles my mind that we don't have leadership that believes we should put efforts into impeachment once we regain the majority.
