What is WAPO reporting? Clinton, DNC Funded Research that Led to Russia Dossier

https://politicalwire.com/2017/10/24/clinton-dnc-funded-research-led-russia-dossier/

The Clinton campaign and DNC “helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about Donald Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin,” the Washington Post reports.

“Marc Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research. Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community.”

“Fusion GPS gave Steele’s reports and other research documents to Elias, the people familiar with the matter said. It is unclear how or how much of that information was shared with the campaign and DNC, and who in those organizations was aware of the roles of Fusion GPS and Steele. One person close to the matter said the campaign and the DNC weren’t informed of Fusion GPS’s role by the law firm.”

Republicans hired Fusion GPS to find dirt on Trump in 2015. By March 2016, they didn’t want to pay Fusion anymore. A law firm hired by the DNC to dig up dirt on Trump then subcontracted the work to Fusion GPS — apparently without telling the DNC. It was at that point Fusion hired Steele and then his memos were bundled into the infamous “dossier.” All according to their anonymous source.

...well, I’m not sure, exactly. Because she indirectly paid the law firm that subcontracted the research that further subcontracted the research to a former British spy, that the dossier is fake? Even though the article eventually points out that much of the stuff in the dossier is true?

They can drop that hint without saying it, then claim to be neutral and balanced because they’re reporting on “both” sides.

Literally the only new piece of information there was the exact month that Fusion’s funding switched from Republican to Democrat.

Big THANK YOU to whomever got the goods on Trump/Putin's Organized Crime through the Steele Dossier.
Their foresight was honorable cuz the USA would have nothing to fight for our Govt, without it.

So Thank You All

then they handed the information over to the Clinton campaign/DNC who continued paying for it after Jeb dropped out. Old news.
