I'm thinking FOX especially will spin it as a win for Trump if it's not one of them (or his kids, etc.).

But I'll shut up now and let Mueller do his job.

(60,536 posts)I had to look it up. I fear, if it isn't the big names indicted tomorrow morning, we'll be listening to Peggy Lee's rendition of "Is that all there is" (from both sides of the aisle) all day.

(7,432 posts)In total, we should be anticipating DOZENS of indictments. FNC can try and spin all of this in a positive light, but... are we also aware the FNC is under investigation for colluding with a hostile foreign power to spread propaganda? Mueller's question will be, "Why isn't FNC registering as a foreign agent?" Why didn't they register through FARA?

(12,344 posts)He is very aggressive. In Enron, he indicted almost everyone and some of their relatives too.

(118 posts).i would arrest multiple people at once, let them know they have limited time to take a deal to spill the beans. The fed always pit people against eachother. They wont arrest one person at a time.

(1,009 posts)he has to be aggressive at this point, because Trump is just going to lash out no matter what, and become more dangerous.
He's the best of the best, so I don't think it's going to be some 2 bit player. It would just give Trump and the RW more ammunition to call it a nothingburger.
I keep thinking about the array of seemingly unrelated arrests (NYC mobsters, and RU mobsters)...FBI raid on a GOP consulting firm. And maybe they got some dirt from that.
I was hoping Trump would resign or something over the weekend. I can dream.

(54,770 posts)indicted -- and rightly so -- unless they squeal to save themselves. If it's just them, we really aren't getting closer to Trump.
I'll be underwhelmed if it is just them, and will feel like Mueller might be running into a dead end.
Me.
