But I was surprised this woman didn't use the normal overspeak tactic most GOP spokespersons use. In fact, she really didn't sound convinced of her own script. Which isn't surprising because the talking points du jour are pure nonsense.

She asked the GOPer a serious of questions like a teacher, to make her answer or sound ignorant if she did not answer. Do you know how many people were on the commission? Do you know whether Hillary participated? Do you know the name of the commission? The person was on her heels, was too insecure NOT to show she knew the answers so she fell in the trap of answering them. All answers were favorable to HRC. Joy has polite but authoritative voice, forcing you to play along. Not easy to filibuster.

That reality is why I have a hard time believing the self reported income thing that claims Trump voters make more than Hillary voters and I won't believe it until TAX records are used to verify or destroy that claim. Income statements at a political rally is SELF reported information people, Democrats generally tell the truth, republicans lie about everything generally. Here are some general facts:

Lots of Trump and republican voters are very poor. I see these people driving around or talking their politics daily. Democrats have poor voters too, lots of them.

The highest income locations in the country, big cities and big suburbs generally vote blue by a large margin.

The wealthiest states are the bluest states. Even in red states, the wealthiest areas vote mostly blue.

How can Trump voters earn more when every statistic say that they tend not to live in high income locations? Don't say republicans have more millionaires and billionaires because Democrats have lots and lots of those too.

It could also be that those with higher
Incomes are more likely to respond to pollsters, or sampling errors.

I can see one working for minimum wage and shopping at Walmart for clothes talking of how much he makes to a clueless reporter, that is what I have seen them do. Shopping for clothes at Nordstrom, Macy's or at Bill's Khakis online would give those people hives.

Taken in by him, when he will only make them poorer.

Those people could work with us to make a better country for us all, but they chose not to.

When other journalists let people spout nonsense unchallenged it drives me crazy. Ms Joy reminds me of the late Great Tim Russert and his descending screen of doom. He would play clips of the guests saying the opposite of what they were now saying. My favorite was when he played them saying what they claimed they never said. Maybe putting facts up when people lied? It is so lazy and sloppy to let people spew untruths and just move on to the next question. I can watch Joy and the TV is in no danger of being shattered by unidentified flying objects.
