saving the 2002 Olympics. But they booed when Pres. Obama tried to get the Olympics for the USA in 2016. Then they high-fived and were frothing at the mouth in glee, remember when Rio was awarded the Olympics.

As far as I was concerned they were bragging about sending our guys out to be murdered to make Dick Cheney and his buddies wealthier than they already were. Support the troops my ass! They should have f&*k the troops tattooed on their forehead!
You point that out and you are one un american bastard, but it's the truth. Too bad so many of our young people were so badly misled. Quite a few were trying to do the right thing but not all of them. We had some that voted for Bush and were all stoked to go on the crusade! I won't elaborate on what I think of them.

they view politics the same way a sports team fanatic views sports. they don't cheer touchdowns or interceptions or home runs or perfect games, because they're not there to see athleticism. they cheer good news for THEIR TEAM and they boo and taunt the other team, regardless of performance.
it's gotten so bad that not only have republican leaders literally and openly decided to kneecap the entire american economy out of fear that growth would be taken as good news for the "wrong" team -- but the republican rank and file appears to be fine with this approach!
