(4,573 posts)He could do one just like that but with the Statue of Liberty holding the sign.
Another one that struck me was the bottom one. I remember watching Loony Tunes on Saturday Morning when I was a kid and every single time a Pepe Le Pew one came on, it was time to go get some cereal or go to the bathroom. It always made me uncomfortable to watch him.
Now I know why. He can't take "no" for an answer. Back then, that was "the norm" or people thought it was "romantic".

Pepe Le Pew always made me extremely uncomfortable and never appreciated why for many years. As a kid I instinctively knew the behavior was creepy rather than funny.
Agree with you on Bennett too!

(4,573 posts)There was one he did a long time ago that had this person wearing a tri-corner hat with tea bags dangling from it and a "Don't Tread on Me" sweatshirt. The cartoon was drawn from the perspective of a bug or something on the ground and he was looming over you, about to stomp on you.
It summed up the "tea party" so well. They looked at everyone else as something to be squashed and destroyed.
