Trump Supporters Overwhelm GPS Ankle Bracelet Monitor Market
Washington, 11/2/2017
With the number of indicted Trump officials growing, there has been a run on electronic monitoring bracelets among Trump supporters, who are embracing the "I Am Manafort. We Are All Manafort." movement. Supplies are dwindling, it is reported, and those GPS tracking devices are selling briskly on eBay for prices far above retail.
One manufacturer, which prefers not to be named, told this reporter, "We're ramping up production at our factory in China, but there's no way to keep up with demand. We don't know when our next shipment of MAGA-branded ankle bracelets will arrive."
Some law enforcement and judicial officials have expressed concern about this new "Me-tooism" among Trump fans. They worry that there will be so many detention monitors out there that tracking will become difficult.
