"Page originally sought to be questioned by the House Intelligence panel in public, but the panel insisted the appearance be conducted in private. As a compromise, the committee agreed to release a transcript three days after the interview."

and wanted to get ahead of Page's crazy testimony.

The article didn't explain, so no evidence . . . just my intuition.

I think he wants to testify in public because he is guiltier than most. Nothing to lose. Makes him look forthcoming

nitwit is going to take a while.

Watch Chris Hayes interview him... he is all "maybe it happened, maybe not" and smug and smiling like he is mr. superspy

I am absolutely sure that someplace in the transcript there will be a "If I tell you I will have to kill you" stmt from him

Carter Page has invoked the 5th, on his own without a lawyer, regarding document production, says House Intel member Speier. Which documents? "Any documents," she tells me.

the Republicans won't let him get away with it.

Seriously, if the 5th Amendment applied to documents a search warrant could be thwarted by invocation of the privilege.

Caused him to travel to Moscow as an emissary of the Republican Party to root out injustice and fight for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Because Devin Nunes and the Republicans on his committee are stonewalling and obfuscating and anything that comes out of its chambers is at least partially suspect.

Poor Adam Schiff. Poor Eric Swalwell. Poor Jackie Speier.
