There were already 9 candidates in the race for the Democratic nomination in TX21 .
It has been a long time since I had a Democrat representing me at any level other than President.

From what I've read he's well positioned for greater power, and it can't be because he hasn't served his oil and gas funders well or because he's belatedly discovered morals (he'd stay and fight in that case).
He's not that old.

(82,849 posts)Isn't it strange to see all these Republican retirements when they've finally gotten everything they always wanted? Oh well, enough of that. Isn't it time for more Donna vs. Hillary in-fighting? No sense feeling too good about Democratic prospects in 2018 when there's so much finger-pointing and recriminations to be indulged.
