DNC Chair: Virginia Is 'Blueprint' For New Democratic Party
Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez heralded Democrat Ralph Northam’s win in Virginia as “a blueprint for what we’re doing everywhere.”

“This is a really important night, and it’s not only an important night for Virginia, but it’s a blueprint for what we’re doing everywhere which is competing in every zip code, and telling our story,” he told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

The DNC has been embroiled in scandal after a new book by former interim chair highlighted a fundraising deal between the Clinton campaign and the Committee well before she’d won the nomination, earning further calls of a “rigged” election by the president.

“The new DNC demonstrated its commitment to organizing for our values,” Perez said in a statement emailed to reporters minutes later. “Tonight’s success is just the beginning."

I hope he is right .....just the beginning.

However, the blueprint needs to be tweaked on a state by state basis.

Politics is local. You gotta know your state which is why Pierello lost the primary and Northam won. Virginia is not a progressive state (yet) and centrist Dems are needed here.

There has been a generational shift. They are perfectly valid constituents in their areas.

Dean won the strategy in 2006 by running people to their districts. This will be done again.

And it will be successful.

And we'll see whether or not we spend the next few years after that downing Democrats or accepting that perfect is the enemy of the good.

We won seats everywhere. VA NJ NY MA FLA. All sorts of seats. We swept VA Governor and HOUSE! We elected an openly transgender to the house in VA. That is huge. That is huge in the age of Dotard and Pensive...

What nonsense. There was no scandal and no rigged election.

This is a biased journalist who is indifferent to facts and is jumping on HRC's political corpse. More of the non-stop crap we have gotten since the election.
