So now the million $$ question...will the right stick with Trump? (Trumpism)

We have all said if Trump hit 30% approval or so they'd start jumping ship. Well he's dipped down in the low 30s a few times but seems to average about 37% or so. But with the ass beating the right is taking tonight all over the place will this be enough for at least some on the right to abandon ship? Will Ryan and McTurtle ask themselves "Is this guy really worth us losing our majorities in 2018?"

I'm sure they think Mike Pence is simply waiting with patience to waltz into the White House.

Oh yeah, and Russians/Mueller is there also.

The process is like melting ice: warm up the surroundings; gradually the ice warms; and then it begins to drip around the edges

The water that drips off doesn't easily find its way back to refreeze

So work on the surroundins

Probably more likely to see the more vulnerable House seat Republicans step away from Trumpster Fire.

As Obama said during the campaign, the GOP has been "feeding their base all kinds of crazy for years." Trump is the result. The bulk of the GOP base is in Trump's corner no matter what. Do they risk alienating them? Or do they just spin tonight as "just another instance of the president's party suffering losses in an off-year election?"
