The Republican loser candidates will be portrayed as weak, thereby diminishing the Democrats' victories. Watch for at least one GOP pundit to declare "honestly, so-and-so ran such a terrible campaign that I'd have been surprised if the Democrat didn't win."
They will seek to trivialize the night, but don't believe their bullshit. This is major, and it's a much-needed sign that Democrats can finally start to reclaim the ground they've lost to Republicans.
