Instead of letting 66 RePutins run unopposed, people in every one of your categories stepped up. Many of them won shocking victories. And even those who didn't, brought Dems to the polls statewide in astonishing numbers - finally something to vote for.

Thing is, such a phenomenon can have legs beyond a Trump presidency. More women and POC serving, better able to represent the interests of the public, should cascade into even better representation.

I was reading immediately after the loss of 2016 the influx of women running for office because of the treatment they saw Clinton endure. I think that was at least as strong, if not more of a telling reason.
