He's not nearly as liberal as I'd want, but this is VIRGINIA. Pretty strong on social issues, including social justice, leaning moderate conservative on economic, is really an appropriate choice for that north-south border state. It's not Hawaii or Massachusetts, after all, and we're seeing the grave dangers that come from alienating large portions of the electorate.



Btw, apparently Rush devoted his entire monologue to the outrage of McAuliffe and Northam making it legal for over 200,000 ex-felons to vote again.

What he said is that he would be willing to work with him IF it didn't take money out of the schools, etc. In other words, he would work with him if he doesn't do all the things he says that he will do. It is once again the repukes picking and choosing part of the quote to suit their purposes.
