I am sure there are many woman out there who would love to step up but are afraid to do so. The "Russian" tactic of disappearing opponents weighs heavily on some minds. If women could be promised safety and security, thousands would step forward. We need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission for women, girls, men and boys who want to step forward and expose their sexual abusers.

True he never belonged in the Senate or had time to settle in, but they seem to be breaking all records casting him off. A handful seem to be tossing in an "If true" after the rope. He promised to be an embarrassment in many ways anyway, but looks like they think they know something.

But you are right, especially back then. My daughter is 22 and has been out of highschool 4 years.. When she was in 6th grade, 10 years ago, I was her cheerleading sponsor for the youth team. The next year she quit that, but kept me informed on what the other little girls were doing. One of them had gotten pregnant in 7th grade which I think would have made her 13. Another one got pregnant the next year at 14. It was shocking to me, but that happens. My own aunt got married to her first husband at 14 in the early 70's. Pretty sad.

Is pedophilia a step too far? Let's find out.

Since it's not the gay kind, there's no guarantee this will bring him down.

Check out this tweet discussing how their state auditor is a big 'meh' on it.

"Even if you accept the Washington Post’s report as being completely true, it’s much ado about very little."

The depth of partisanship and misogyny that's systemic there with Republicans can easily lead to validation of even abuse against a 14-year old girl.

Trump supporters don't care as long as the authority they back is in power. Its a feature of right wing authoritarianism that their faith in the chosen authorities cannot be shaken.

They are already beginning to defend pedophilia for him.

Alabama state auditor Jim Ziegler, a Republican operator, gave an interviews in which he justified Moore’s assaults on children by citing scripture, noting that “Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter” and stating that Moore’s assaults on children were “nothing immoral or illegal…Maybe just a little bit unusual.”
