Anyone else think Moore will do a 1988 style Jimmy Swaggert?

Publically weeping, begging for forgiveness, then jumping back in 3 weeks.
NYT. Feb 1988
BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 21— The Rev. Jimmy Swaggart, who last year condemned a fellow television evangelist, Jim Bakker, as ''a cancer on the body of Christ,'' today confessed to sins of his own and begged to be forgiven.

Speaking before a congregation of 8,000 people at his World Faith Center here, Mr. Swaggart said that his ministry would continue, but that he would be absent from the pulpit for ''an indeterminate time.''

Interesting to check out the video.

Also, a lot harder to do when you've publicly denied it.

3. If allegations are true, he should pull a Swaggert. He has been saved of his sins by Jesus.

Not bad the first time for Swaggart. Didn't work as a re-run. Might work for Moore as a Moldy Oldie. We'll see.

In the New Masculinism, to show shame for previous action would be to admit weakness. That is something that is simply not done.

11. Yes, I see that as a much "lesser" offense.

And I'm not sure it should be illegal at all, as long as it's the women's choice.

But that's another issue.

But mostly he'll just keep denying it.
