The Irony. Alleged Rand Paul Assailant Banned From Owning Firearms As Condition Of Release.

Could the "Bowling Green Massacre" that Kellyanne Conway spoke of be the MASSACRE OF IRONY? Perhaps.

Republicans, and their employees on the Supreme Court fought hard to ALLOW CONVICTED DOMESTIC ABUSERS to buy and own GUNS. Never mind ACCUSED domestic abusers owning guns...the fist time that Clarence Thomas opened his mouth in 20 years was to defend the 'rights' of convicted wife beaters to own guns. Everyone was shocked to find out he could even SPEAK, since he hadn't uttered a word in decades.

Meanwhile, the guy that allegedly assaulted Rand Paul over a dispute over the arrangement of his garden gnomes has been released on $7500 bail. One of the conditions: HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO OWN FIREARMS. Talk about irony.

"Under the conditions of his release, Boucher is to have no contact with Paul, the senator’s family or offices and must remain at least 1,000 feet away from Paul, according to court records.

Boucher is also forbidden from possessing firearms or weapons of any kind as part of his release."

PS-disclaimer: I wish Rand Paul a peaceful and speedy recovery. I wouldn't wish broken ribs on anybody. It's one of the most painful injuries.

And his neighbor thought Rand Paul had exceeded his quota of garden gnomes allowed on the front street? Maybe.

Or maybe it was Jeff Sessions who was visiting?

I want to hear a quote on his views on weapons control now. It will be interesting if he can top the bullshit that Steve Scalise put out after his junk was shot off.

...owning guns, no matter what they've done. The one exception is if their gun ownership potentially endangers anybody who's MORE of a middle-aged white man. Archetype one-upsmanship. A Republican Senator qualifies as the ULTIMATE middle-aged white man.

and no one believes the landscaping story.

Don't know what is true but local news talked to a neighbor who saw Rand running way from the doctor. He couldn't breathe and he also has facial injuries.

Assault 4 ? Hmmmm
