BIG NEWS: In our PA congressional gerrymandering suit, the PA Supreme Court just granted our petition asking them to exercise extraordinary jurisdiction, and they will resolve the case in time for the 2018 midterms!

(2,654 posts)In Tuesday's election, the incumbent Republican candidate (who was recently appointed to the court) prevailed over the Democrat challenger who is an Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) Common Pleas Judge. I hope the Republican justices on the court set aside whatever allegiance they may otherwise feel toward their party and rule that boundaries of the PA congressional districts have resulted from Republican-guided gerrymandering.
