(10,437 posts)and new ads can go at Moore and Jones concentrates on emphasizing Moore's refusal to meet man to man to debate
national democratic PACS gotta get in on this ASAP

(13,305 posts)...this should be the focus of the national party. And no getting squeamish on running ads about these latest accusations or any bullshit "taking the high road" excuses.
Let's get on this.

(31,261 posts)Send money and let the locals do their own ads, they know how to fight a bastard like Moore. This need to turn into a good southern knock out and drag out mudfight, southerners know how to do that.

(37,748 posts)I think Moore will lose. I even think there's a chance he'll drop out at the request of the GOP who will run Strange as a write-in candidate which could split the GOP vote in half. Clinton won non-evangelical voters in Alabama by 12 points, and Moore is doing even worse than Trump did among that group.
The AL Gov. resigned from office in April, facing impeachment for having used his office to cover up an extramarital affair. His approval rating dropped precipitously after the revelation of the affair showing that there are instances when moral outrage outweighs partisan interest. AL voters could be getting close to complete fatigue in regards to sexual-assault scandals.
McConnell, Murkowski, Flake, Perdue, Gardner, Shelby, Toomey and Lee have already intimated a hands-off approach, and are unwilling to vouch for him. Four underage age females is much more problematic to his base than adults boasting about other nailing other adults (sheesh... I can't believe we have a President that forced me to make that caveat).

(16,887 posts)I completely agree
I believe Moore will lose and that he will either drop out or Strange as a write-in candidate will win or swing the vote to the Democratic candidate.

(36,500 posts)I hope you are right, because what it says about a large segment of our population if he wins, is tragic. Another DUer posted in a different thread - they hate us more than they love their children.

(38,439 posts)We are not talking about a lot of changed voters. We are talking about 10 percent of the voters who are currently going to vote for Moore, changing their minds and not voting for Moore. If that happens, Moore will lose the election. Look at the original post. There is currently about 9 percent difference between the two. So, It will not take a lot of voters to change their minds. Many women are offended by this. If enough of them vote against Mr. Moore, ...then,,,are you ready???
Then Mr. Moore, ain't no more........ thank you
