Women with nothing to gain came forward and spoke.
It really is binary.
They told the truth.
OR
They lied.
For a bunch of old white goats in the US Senate GOP caucus to qualify their statements about Moore and couch it in "If these allegations are true . . . ." is to show disrespect to these women.
All very unsurprising given these power hungry, tin-eared fuckers.
IT
REALLY
IS
BINARY

(26,060 posts)to each and every republican should be "are you claiming all 4 of these women are liars?". Make them call these women liars or we'll never hear the end of "if he's guility....." which is such a bullshit answer (as if they ever gave any Democrat the benefit of the doubt).

(1,353 posts)The reporters did the investigation work of FBI caliber and have multiple corroborating people to their stories. Every official who says "if" is complicit. What this should awaken is the shitty fact that Trump's group of women he assaulted are still out there, thrown to the curb and yet he's president... It's all so maddening and depressing... And we should have had a female president in there...now making life better for all. UGH!!!!

Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.
