regularly stick his foot in his mouth. I love Biden, and he was the perfect counter for Obama. I do not see him as President. And last? If he is going to run, I need him to totally apologize and state why he was wrong in his comments to Anita Hill. I doubt he will give me that.

It was a constant refrain for people's (Democrats) rejection of Hillary Clinton. "Gasp! I can't support her! She voted for the WAR!" Meanwhile, so did lovable ole Joe, but it never seems to stick to him.

Biden would be - by *far* - the oldest president at the time of inauguration. Trump, at age 70, is the oldest in US history. Biden would be 78.

There are qualified young leaders. I've suggested a Kamala Harris/Chris Murphy ticket.

just to put a woman, when we are literally fighting for the life of our country, morphed though it has become, no. We pick the top two, in the right combination. If it is 2 women or 2 men, the objective is to win and get these RWNJs out of office.

in light of the #metoo movement and all that goes with that, I believe women would get behind a woman candidate running for national office in either seat. When women get out and vote, we win. I agree that we are fighting for the life and soul of our country and must win in order to have a chance at that. That said, we MUST make damned sure the candidate we run for President has women's rights at the forefront of their platform.

Biden is already too old. So is Trump but that's a different thread.

Harris, maybe. Let's give it a couple more years.

One of the things the Democratic Party has been doing wrong for the last decade or so is that it has not been bringing in new, younger candidates for office.

I know that criticism of Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi is a flogging offense here, but Jesus H. Christ. Feinstein is already 84, and Pelosi is (a relatively young) 77. Neither one shows any signs of retiring, and neither one is grooming a replacement. Huge mistake.

Keep in mind that the average age of Democrats in Congress is at least 10 years older than Republicans. They've done a good job of finding younger people to run for office, while Democrats are happy to go with the same old same old. Emphasis on the old.

I am looking at names like Adam Schiff, Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker, with Schiff being my favorite. He's smart, serious, and speaks simply, but eloquently. For the record, I don't think we can win with a woman at the top of the ticket - and I am a woman who would LOVE to see a woman president in my lifetime.
