If the DNC does not invest heavily in the Alabama Senate race now then Perez should be replaced Immediately......
This Senate Seat is absolutely winnable now!!

(31,235 posts)people who never have a good word to say about the DNC, who boast about never giving another dime to the DNC, thinking they can direct how the money (they don't donate) should be spent.

(6,994 posts)This is why Democrats lose when they pick and chose where to pu their money...Its the Chariman's decision ..and oh yes when Debbie Wassermann Schultz,,,failed to support winnable House Seats, just how did that work out for Democrats?...3 election cycles we lost under her leadership so Perez needs to step up

(31,235 posts)I'll venture to say he'll win by double digits now that his supporters are all riled up. I know that. And the DNC knows that.
As for how DWS spent the organization's money, do you have proof that she "failed to support winnable House Seats"? How the hell do you know that, and is there anything in the way of irrefutable proof to support your claim, or is this just a continuation of DWS bashing?

Why would he say such a stupid thing?
Just wait
This hasnt even started
He also denied even knowing her!

(31,235 posts)It doesn't. We know that. Women in AL voted overwhelmingly for the Groper-In-Chief, even after they heard him admit to being a serial sexual predator. This news might be good for places like DU, CNN & MSNBC, but his supporters don't get their news from such places.
I'm still waiting for the o.p. to defend his/her claim about DWS failing to support winnable races during her tenure at the DNC. All I get is crickets.

(6,994 posts)Debbie was for Debbie..she actually supported a Republican in Florida over a Democrat.
Her goal was to have that Cabinet position in the Clinton White House..
There is no need to mention the corrupt way Debbie ran several of the State primaries including the Iowa Caucus....Is there?
Its not DWS bashing it proof the DWS was an incompetent Chairperson for the DNC
Tarheel_Dem
(31,235 posts)having difficulty processing the Democratic "wins" last Tuesday, but get over it. And by the way, States run primaries, the DNC only runs the caucuses, which you guys won. You can't blame DWS or the DNC if "primary voters" weren't buying what you were selling. What more did you want?

Its clear. Roy Moore is unfit to serve.
But the Alabama special election is just one month away -- and without an outpouring of grassroots support, this man could become the next U.S. Senator from Alabama.

Alabama may be a tough state for Democrats, but Rachel Maddow has gone on the record to say that Doug Jones is running a competitive campaign. And Doug is no stranger to tough fights. As a prosecutor, he took on the decades old case of the Birmingham Church Bombing and brought members of the KKK to justice.
The contrast between Doug Jones and Roy Moore couldnt be clearer, Caroline. Please, contribute $4 right now to stand on the right side of history and help us fight for every Senate seat:

(4,492 posts)They're the arm of the DNC specifically devoted to winning senate races.
They have field staff on the ground.
ETA other outside organizations have field staff on the ground or are in the process of hiring them. I receive left leaning political job postings and have seen a lot of AL lately.

In addition, I also received emails from the PCCC and DFA (both use predictive dialers) about Alabama.
