Republican party is about to own pedophilia as part of its brand image forever.

Alabama Mobile County GOP chairman John Skipper: "It does not really surprise me. I think it is a typical Democratic - Democrat - ploy to discredit Judge Moore, a sincere, honest, trustworthy individual."

"These allegations that surfaced today - to my knowledge, they're all bunk. No credibility whatsoever," Mobile County Republican chairman John Skipper tells me.

If these allegations against Moore were true, Mitch McConnell's anti-Moore allies would have obviously found them and released them during the primary, Mobile County Republican chairman John Skipper tells me.

Alabama Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker tells me Democrats convinced these women to tell a fake story to damage Moore.

I told him the 14-year-old became a Trump voter.

"That's the typical background or profile of somebody they would be using for that," he said.

"If they said she was a Hillary supporter, then she'd be more dismissed by the local voters here in the state of Alabama. You'd have to paint her as a Trump supporter to be of any credibility," Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker says.

"Yeah!" Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker tells me he'd consider voting Moore even if hard proof of sexual abuse emerged.

"There is NO option to support to support Doug Jones, the Democratic nominee. When you do that, you are supporting the entire Democrat party."

Tally from my calls to Alabama GOP county chairs: 4 vehemently pro-Moore, 3 no comment/"haven't read the story yet," 15 I couldn't reach, 0 criticism of Moore.

Postscript: GOP officer who'd vote Moore even if he was a proven sex offender refused in 2015 to accept the legalization of gay marriage, saying "it's wrong."

i don't want to step foot in that place. i feel badly for blue people who live there, it can't be easy. as it is i live in NC where the republicans seem to want to replicate AL and also become a crazy republican country unto itself.

I found the natural beauty of the area and climate appealing, and the real estate buy-in price. But after spending time with some locals and hearing how they didn't think like ordinary people, I rejected the idea. We could have an inclusive, national, cosmopolitan culture were it not for the propaganda forces of religion and corporate media keeping backwoods, insular culture intact in places like that. The blatant racism is what shocked me most because i already knew about the religion aspect.

Outside St Louis, KC, and most of the college campuses, this whole place wants to be a Sundown Town. Most people who live here are proud of that fact, even if they don't say it out loud.

especially with the racism. as if it's in the DNA. i'm here in NC, in a blue area, but the republicans have had absolute power for several years now and they are rabid.

Foley sent sexually explicit messages to a former congressional page...

"Once the news report became more widely known, Foley's chances of retaining his seat in Congress were limited. Hastert said in an October 2 press conference that he would have demanded Foley's expulsion from the House had he tried to stay in office.[35] (Ironically, Hastert himself was described by a Federal District Court judge as a "serial child molester",[36] and jailed in 2016".

"After several years removed from the public eye, Foley resurfaced as a supporter of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election, appearing behind him in a crowd at one of his rallies."
