priceless...I concur with NowThis assessment...I don't mean to project, but, I once asked my top boss how the hell we were going to get the local telcos to go along with our (AT&T) expansion into the local telco market - our expansion required our calling the local companies to process the orders...

My direct boss, who sat at the same table pulled me aside later to tell me she could see the feathers falling from my mouth (I already knew the answer to my question) - she thought he (top boss) was going to fire me...I look back on it and laugh my ass off...30 year career..most rewarding...as it was, we redirected into full out cellular....locals (telco) totally made that happen..."sorry, we didn't get the order, could you send it again"????? -
