(14,155 posts).... who habitually wave the flag and the buy-bull in your face.
But these family values candidates and voters are no better than perverts and pedophiles. Masquerading as fine and upstanding Fundamentalist Dominionist Christians in the service to God and Christ while they sneak off in some dark corner pleasuring themselves and masturbating to the vision of innocent under aged children floating around in their sick and depraved heads.
They profess to be good people with more and higher morality than anyone else while preaching the word of God but in reality conducting themselves as the disciples of Satan and doing the works of the devil.
Irredeemable deep down greedy, gluttonous, incredibly selfish hypocrites and liars - to the marrow of their bones.

(14,532 posts)I just want to express that with each new person and case being exposed also exposes that their harassment and assaults were well known in their communities. Well known "secrets" for decades and decades allowing the perpetrator to continue abusing women. The women were told to STFU or suffer repercussions.
Even if the women came forward at the time they would not be believed, even though everyone knew what the guy was like.

(21,506 posts)If you like someone you don't want to believe they are evil or despicable.
Take John Edwards as an example. There were literally hundreds on this board defending him until it was undeniable what a creep he was.
It is difficult to displace people in a position of power even when their behavior is suspect. Often because for every person that can see how reprehensible that person is there are more that either because of influence over them or just plain ignorance refuse to believe it.
Trump voters are another perfect example. Evidence piles up day after day that what he fed them during the election was all bullshit yet still they think he is doing a great job sticking up for them.
Many people seem to get stuck in a position and refuse to change regardless of the evidence the position they hold is utter nonsense.
Sandusky another perfect example.. to many he was a hero because the team won. It was inconceivable to them that as well as being a winning coach he was a horribly evil pedophile.
Cosby again a beloved tv personality that got away with it forever because he was a beloved personality no one wanted to hear he was a rapist so they didn't.
The list is literally endless and it is not limited to rape.

(31,261 posts)There are more bombs out there waiting to go off. People like that don't stop until they get stopped. Moore did not get caught until this week, so there are likely young women with stories, the question is whether they come forward.

(23,322 posts)victims that have bravely come forward surely are not isolated cases. Old Pervy Roy didn't stop there. I hope others find the courage to be known. It must be so hard for them knowing they will be publicly shamed by the deplorables. Some of them might even be married to or the children of deplorables and have no support at all. Frightening.
