I am sure WaPo has a superior legal dept. A story like this has probably been sent to them several times to go over. WaPo would not have published this unless they had the legal dept. approval. Moore would be buried if he tries to sue. Even more so if he acts as his own attorney.

If they could win the Pentagon Papers case, this one would be trivial.
