Prediction: Moore will drop out of race

It won’t be because R Senators are now against him, and it certainly won’t have anything to do with finding some moral compass.

No, it will be because the $ is fleeing. Sheldon Adelson has pulled his support for Steve Bannon, and that means that other rich ass Rs will pull their support from Bannon, and THAT means that Bannon will need to change his tune when it comes to supporting Moore.

He will need to push Moore out or go down with Moore’s sinking ship.

Moore will quit because Bannon has no future as an R if he doesn’t.

Moore stays in... and RNC / GOP announces NO write in... but vote for Moore with the understanding that he will either resign or otherwise remove himself from politics (to spend more time with God and his family). The governor announces that Sessions will be named to replace him leaving DOJ. Trump announces new DOJ AG and that AG will fire Mueller.

Some states may avoid it, such as New England and NY joining the Canadian confederation. But the majority won’t.

Except to impeach the president, or suffer the near electoral annihilation of their party next november. If trump thinks he can execute his own version of the Saturday Night Massacre and everyone just walks away from that, it will be their doom. Congressional Republicans know it. They won't let it happen. If it comes down to McConnell losing his majority or trump goes to prison, Donald Trump will die in ft levanworth. McConnells a traitorous asshole, but he IS predictable.

and it would only take a few defections to prevent it (Corker, McCain and Flake--all leaving the Senate and all out of fucks to give--are likely suspects).

Jones should be declared winner. No other accommodations for nominating a flawed candidate in the primary. He's one of two remaining candidates, if Moore drops out, the remaining candidate wins.

Moore drops out.
And then?
Jones wins.
And then?
No and then.

Then the party will say who they will replace him with and they will say “A vote for Moore is a vote for xxxxx”

It would be the same as if a candidate died at this point before the election and they say they will replace them with somebody if elected.

I predict he'll stay in. He won't care about hurting Bannon.

As for Bannon, he'll be fine either way. He's shown that he can back an insurgent and propel him to victory in a Republican primary over an incumbent who's supported by the entire GOP establishment. What other Republicans will note is not that Moore lost (if he does), but that Strange lost.

What does he care about Bannon?

It's Alabamas election, and he still can win given its inbred, good old boy, back water nature.

He us a cult favorite, and will continue to play it like Trump, if the Senate won't seat him, play the victim to the swamp or whatever.

People aren't thinking this "drop out" thing through. He's on the ballot, and story. No one can replace him.

All his dropping out will do (in his mind) is publically admit he did what he us accused of. In the year 2017, that is not something GOPers are capable of.

He’s defied the U.S. Supreme Court.
He’s defied the Alabama Supreme Court.
He’s defied the American Bar Association.
This guy( I refuse to call him Judge as he was removed from the bench) thinks he’s correct on everything and recognizes no one’s authority but his own.
He loses nothing if he remains in the race, he might win.
He’s not going to withdraw.

can decertify him, which means any votes for him will not be counted as he can't be removed from the ballot at this stage of the game.

Do I expect that to happen, I would be shocked beyond relief is that party did anything remotely positive.
