How can Mueller not indict Don Trump Jr?

He organized the meeting with the Russians at Trump Tower back in June of last year. Now, we find that he was communicating and working with Wikileaks right up to the election.

How can Jr. escape jail time?

2. Because an investigator like Mueller doesn't charge people based on news reports.

While I hate all of the Trumps that not how he operates. I am sure this makes it way more likely.

Probably wants to get the little birds to sing first.

But it might not be sufficient information to charge someone with a crime. Not sure what the legal standard is not being a criminal lawyer.

I am sure the special counsel team will get on this. Don't get me wrong. I would love nothing more than to get a news alert that says "Donald Trump Jr. charged by special counsel Mueller."

But our wishes and the law are two different things.

Perhaps Mueller is biding his time. Jr. has a so what attitude, which might change if he is indicted.

Unless he is so ignorant that he simply does not understand the trouble he is in.

Not based on any particular info, it just seems a good strategy

... Red Dons squad is deep in it with the Russians and so are other KGOPrs

Look at the money the KGOP brings in after CU consistently, no doubt some of it is Russian ... I'd put some money on it.

13. You'd think. But I think Mueller has to prove Trump Jr knowingly solicited foreign help, etc.

Seems pretty obvious with Ruskie meeting and the lies about that even occurring, but I'm not sure Wikileaks is as clear. There's a lot of other stuff Mueller has to tie down too.

Trump Junior does have the argument he's stupid. I think they will eventually get him, and there may be a lot more serious crimes to consider.

...even Pompeo had called them an agent of Russia's? So, he was not ignorant of whom he was communicating with and neither was his Daddy.
