Here's Reagan in an Army parka:

She's wearing a jacket that's part of someone's personal uniform. If she was on the DMZ, she should have brought appropriate clothes, or been issued a jacket without markings, if the local base CO authorized it.
The guy who lent it to her is technically looking at charges for mis-handling government property - accessory to theft if she doesn't return it.
I got dinged by the MPs at the airport for wearing my greatcoat out of uniform going home after boot-camp in Saint Louis. Scared the hell out of me, but it was still against regs.

That fringe of faux-fur around the edge of the hood? What's that for? In parkas made from real fur pelts, the fur is on the inside of the hood. You know, to keep the wearer's head warm. It's as if the Army parka's designers saw the little bit of fur peeking out from the hood of a real fur parka, and thought it was just supposed to be on the outside.

Even if she took it off the guy's still warm body to keep the chill off. It's a government issued piece of someone's uniform, with military clear markings - certainly not military surplus chic.
And that pearl necklace is certainly not regulation.

Y'know, I couldn't even wear my plain black uniform cardigan sweater - the early 1990's version that buttoned up in front - with my little black dress on a chilly night out at the time, and I certainly couldn't lend it to my stepdaughter if she wanted to wear it.

But more than anything, she hasn't paid the price the rest of us did to wear a jacket like that. That cheapens her "support the troops" hypocrisy more than anything else.

We see constantly threads like this and others from you in a similar vein. The result of this is to continue the double standards for women that focus on appearance rather than what they do in their official capacity. I'm fucking sick of it. We just saw an extremely qualified woman candidate be defeated by a sexual predator because men AND women value women's contributions less than men's. You think it's acceptable because Sanders works for Trump. Women who ripped Hillary apart for her appearance actively contributed to putting that predator in the Oval Office. Republicans think trashing Democrats is acceptable. The end result of this is that women are reduced to second class citizenship.

And really? Is this seriously what occupies your mind? We learn the Russians directly financed candidates. More of the Trump administration's collusion with the Kremlin is being exposed every day. We have a child molester poised to be elected senator, and Alabama Republicans are defending him because they see women as worth less than men. And the thing you decide matters enough to post an OP is Huckabee Sanders wardrobe, whether pearls are appropriate with camo outfits.

What matters about Huckabee Sanders is that she lies from the White House podium every single day, yet you focus on her wardrobe.
