GOP can't hide anymore.

They, and their idiotic plans are now front and center for the entire country to see. The usual bit seems to be Democrats craft reasonable, workable, plans and the Goppers show up with some sing song nonsense to add to the bill. They hum and bum until it gets added and only then do they vote for it.

Well now they don't have anybody out front crafting reasonable legislation to hitch a ride on. They can't seem to do it because their only idea is how to move wealth from the middle class to the wealthiest Americans. Without something legit to hide behind their naked greedy is right there on full display for everybody to see. I mean, after 8 years you'd think they'd have had a plan that gave us this fantastic cheap full coverage health care, but no. They didn't have anything ready to go and instead tried to write full on health legislation over lunch that the country undoubtedly would have suffered under.... on napkins. Without going into detail, the intended plan would have worked best for the wealthiest Americans.

That piece of shit didn't work, but it came close... too damn close. Now they are trying to pass a tax refund to the wealthiest Americans in the guise of tax reform. Again, they are flying by the seat of their pants to pass something that they know is blatantly awful for the American public. Trickle down doesn't work, it just doesn't. It didn't before why would it now? If you listen to them companies are going to take the extra money and hire more workers. Again, why would they? If your current workers are meeting efficiency needs why would you hire more when there is no extra demand? Demand from consumers who are still struggling isn't a economic principal thing. Stop trying to squeeze water from a rock and do something meaningful. Raise the taxes at the top and lower the rates for the average American, or give us all raise. That will create demand and that will create the need for profits and more workers.

Course, that's not going to happen because the GOP doesn't know how to do anything other than cheat to win elections to hide behind Democratic, or "Bipartisan", legislation. This tax reform will probably fail because when it goes to shit they are going to be entirely to blame. I've rambled enough, but in closing I just want to say that I'm proud the Democratic Party is holding staunch. DO NOT let the GOP cajole you guys into holding the bag on some bullshit legislation. Their version of Bipartisanship is just a way to deflect blame.
