What are we going to do about the two solitudes in the news media?

Personally, I would separate them into the fake media who is only an arm of the right wing and is only interested in 'propelling the propaganda' to help their side win at all cost.

And the conservative corporate owned private capitalist media that is primarily interested in ad money and so tried to affect the numbers in the last election by giving Trump all the air time he wanted and more, and whenever they talked about Hillary it was EMAILS! non stop. But at least now most other TV MSM, other than Fox News, is digging for truth, which means of course exposing Republican lies. Sure a lot is because they see this as the new cash cow. Its shocking, controversial, and gets eyeballs on the screen..ie ad money. But at least the journalists employed have been given the green light to call a lie a lie etc..and they've tampered down the standard false equivalency requirement that they usually had to attach to every story.

But..for the sake of argument, Lets just say the Liberal media and the Conservative media.

We now have more and more people just tuning in to hearing THEIR side. To the point where there is no way back. Example is both the general election, and the Roy Moore election. I predict Moore will win. Because the majority of that State only watch Fox News, or listen to RW hate radio. And that RW media shapes their beliefs. Not their opinions, their beliefs. It is now so entrenched a whole generation has now grown up hearing only fake news and understandably to some degree, think its the God's truth. That Democrats are the ultimate evil on the planet, and so no matter what a Republican is charged with, its not as bad as giving the Democrats more power, and besides the charges are probably just false charges made to bring down their party, God, and the nation.

And this divide is only getting greater. This Sinclair group that is scooping up what ever is left of radio thinks even Fox News is too liberal. And on our side, whose access to main stream avenues is severely restricted, has internet news sites like this one, and Democracy Now, and other various YouTube channels. And the MSM, but only when they have no other choice but to work with us. So we stay loyal to those as well. I for one cannot stomach watching a minute of Hannity for instance.

How will it all end?
