Yeah it nice we get a $1200.00 tax break, while I work as a truck driver putting in over hours .....

a week! But how fair it the people like Trump has others do the work & these people get a substantial tax break for all their work and are able to keep their deductions! Paul Ryan's speech made me sick!

deduction gets a $1,400 tax reduction on $90K of income.

That is my situation. Frankly I would tell the federal government to increase taxes to address the deficit.

of this tax bill, "breaks" like this not only disappear over time but some are required to pay for themselves by turning into increases. Kinda like little "loans" with our own tax dollars that we have to pay back, with interest, permanent payments with interest.

You may get a break now but when you look at all of the deductions that are no longer allowed and everyone's healthcare will go up now, whether you have the ACA or not, and the tax breaks go day at within 10 years while the rich get a permanent tax break.

Last night Moveon.org, Bernie, Indivisible, etc had an emergency nationwide call to get ready to storm the Bastille the week of Nov 29 after the Senate returns from Thanksgiving Recess. We have to DELAY the vote. Call your senators, etc. Here is a petition to sign.

With real screws.

One of the things that goes away in the Lowering Trump’s Taxes Act of 2017 is the unreimbursed employee expense deduction, which you as a commercial driver should be using heavily.

Remember General Secretary Trump’s photo op at the trucking firm? Well...it just so happens truckers get fucked the worst by this plan.

Households earning between $75,000 and $100,000 will see, on average, no tax cut. Households making less than $75,000 per year will see a tax increase."
