The ultimate irony for Trump supporters (which I will gladly point out to them)...

.... is that when the investigations into Trump conclude and if (please, WHEN) he winds up jailed it will be due to him becoming President and opening that scrutiny upon himself; putting himself in the public eye and leaving his safe little crooked world of grifting in New York, where he could buy off threats.

And so I will happily point out to the Trump supporters (most of whom will of course not repent in the least): "You bought this. You OWN this. You CAUSED this. By electing Trump, you ensured his downfall. Had Hillary won, these investigations and his imprisonment wouldn't have happened.

Oh, and by the way - thanks!"

Please, Santa, make it happen soon!

No jail time.

Especially those with Kids both in Primary School and College. This new Tax Bill is going to be Brutal on Families in Progressive States, and it will do a real number on Red States in different ways. Those Tax Revenue transfer payments from Blue states to Red States will be cut by shear loss of Taxable Incomes as the Economy goes South in 2019 and 2020.

It is after all,Party before Country, and we Dems have to shove this up the back side of the GOP starting now.

We had a sit down with the Grand Daughter the other night, concerning College Funding and those Fricken Loans. She has a full Ride Academic Scholarship, but it is all the Housing and other needs that bite. We have a backup plan if all else fails,She lives with us and does Community College eight blocks away. Not going to see these Kids get trapped in the Debt Spiral.

BTW,Community Colleges are so under utilized it is pure crazy. In our State, the Credits move at same value wither,Community to State University or the other way around. Wished I have this way back in the Stone Age.

Had tuition scholarship and we skimped to get the rest for her.
But we are tapped out now, and she has to get loans for grad school.

She might or might not get some money from the university for grad school.
We are waiting with fingers crossed.

Absolutely agree, everyone should think of first two years at junior college then transfer
to university.

A friend of mine (American), her son got a scholarship to a Canadian university.
He got it all paid for, tuition, housing, food, etc. AND a stipend, cash every month.
When he was finished with his degree, he left Canada with a nice savings account.

She is doing Mortuary Science, and irony being what it is,got a job offer working at the Mortuary couple blocks from the School.

They will not believe the investigation is legitimate (they already don’t think it is legitimate). They will see it as “fake news”. If trump gets charged with a crime and convicted, sent to jail they will see it as pure partisan politics...at that point all bets are off. They will simply come unhinged.

Trump's pettiness that got him to run in the first place is what will bring him down. He HAD to try to undo Obama after a perceived slight. He will end up undoing himself and his family.

I love it!

They will perceive this to have been a partisan witch hunt, since partisan witch hunts are THEIR modus operandi. They will never own this, much like they never acknowledged that it was Bush that crippled this country pre-Obama.

The party of personal responsibility doesn't know the meaning of the word.

But if Hillary had won, the Repukes in Congress would have stalled her agenda at every turn, making her impotent and likely leading to a Democratic bloodbath in 2018 and 2020, and allowing them to continue their gerrymandering agenda. As it stands now, the opposite looks likely to happen and it's all thanks to Trump winning.

so they would be looking over their shoulders the rest of their lives.

And maybe when they're still young enough to know what's going on, the prosecution of Trump will give someone the balls to go after a war criminal who ordered torture, lied us into a needless war that killed thousands of our troops and probably over a million Iraqis.
