"SNIP........
More Russia bombshells are set to drop as Special Counsel Robert Mueller is pursuing Trump campaign meetings and contacts with foreign officials that have not been made public.
The Washington Post reported:
Muellers investigators are also still actively mapping out all the attempts by Russian nationals and people with ties to Russian President Vladimir Putins government to connect with and possibly infiltrate the Trump campaign. So far, at least nine people in Trumps orbit had contact with Russians during the campaign or the transition to the White House, according to Muellers charging documents and interviews and records obtained by The Washington Post.
Witnesses questioned by Muellers team warn that investigators are asking about other foreign contacts and meetings that have not yet become public, and to expect a series of new revelations. Investigators are especially focused on foreign officials contacts with Michael Flynn, a campaign adviser and later Trumps national security adviser, witnesses said.
The White House should be terrified, but the President appears to be too arrogant to understand what is happening. Robert Mueller is doing a criminal sweep of his campaign and finances. This investigation is not going away anytime soon. In fact, it is going to get much worse for Donald Trump.

(118,734 posts)the first place I go to look for stories DU may have missed. And i want to give Goddard's site the credit for finding the stories. I can't afford to get a membership there. It is the least i can do to give him traffic.

Same with Wall Street Journal, NY Times, etc.
Thanks for mentioning it.

Ive done my best, without overstepping, to share my view that the perception of the inquiry that it involved a decade or more of financial transactions and other alleged issues that were mistakenly reported just wasnt true, and that the issues were narrower and wholly consistent with the mandate provided by the Justice Department to the Office of the Special Counsel, Cobb said.
Trump owns the doj, the cia, the nsa. To think that moles don't exist in our own gov't feeding info back to both trump and the russians is foolish.
They know something, and it reaks of a fix.

(6,398 posts)Should have copied the link and posted here. Long story short, the KGB was having a hard time in turning people. Leftists were in short supply and those that remained, weren't to keen on the Soviet Union. So they changed their strategy, went after people with large ego's and knew they had a weakness. Trump was one of them, they invited him to Moscow and heavily complimented him...since they found out he liked that kind of praise...and lured him with "Just imagine! A Trump tower directly across from the Kremlin! And we can help you make it happen!". They did this because they found out he had an interest in politics. Long story short, they couldn't agree on terms, but, implied, that if he should reconsider, they were there for him.
If his ties go back that far, I feel sorry for Mueller.
