Sure, Biden will be 78 in 2020 - but he'll be like a young whippersnapper compared to the dotard we have in power now.

Installing anyone as POTUS is never a good idea.

Last time that happened we got gwdub.

That's definitely what should happen. Unfortunately, there really is no remedy to a stolen election once the Electoral College votes (other than congressional impeachment, eventually).

Which makes it the second time Cheeto's profited from a bullshit college.

it requires an unprecedented remedy. The wrong must be rightfully corrected and our Constitution and laws amended to ensure something like this never happens again. Otherwise it's free reign for the Repugs to do whatever the hell they want and screw the American people time and time again. They've been able to screw us three times now to 3 of our Dems candidates Gore, Kerry & now Hillary. Unless the law changes this will continue. They know they can't win unless they cheat so that's their modus operandi.

Americans do, and that if in the case it became absolutely necessary that a military coup would be better than the hell we're going through now. I hate to say that but this idiot in office is a danger to the etire world, not just the US.

While it's true that Third world history is dotted with frequent military coups - many of them prompted by power struggles and other selfish motives - it's also true that numerous Third World dictators have fallen primarily thanks to massive demonstrations.

The Shah of Iran, Somoza, Argentina's 'Process' dictatorship (and the corrupt de la Rúa gov't. years later), Marcos, Duvalier, Pinochet, Eastern Europe's Communist dictatorships, Mobutu, Suharto, Mubarak, ben Ali (Tunisia), Yanukovich, and now, Mugabe, are just some of the dictators compelled to step aside not by a violent coup or foreign invasion; but above all because people stood united.

Unfortunately, in almost all these cases there was a common denominator as far as the respective peoples involved: economic desperation (some worse than others). It was, to some degree, a matter of life and death for them.

I pray we never get to that point. May this political crisis have a Nixon outcome, rather than a Ceaucescu one.

That was the time we had actual ADULTS in the WH. Good that they had each other, pitted against the useless gop representatives fighting them all the way. I hope this Russia investigation takes down many in the gop who received money from Russia.

The unmistakeable love and respect between these two men is beyond touching.

Their commitment to the greater good, over personal ambition, ego, and jealousy made this friendship possible .

What a great model for all of us to follow.

Joe was non-plused. He had no idea and broke out in tears. Yup! It was a mutual love fest. But this is what a president does in the best of times.

Here:

Always remember. For eight years we had these two guys at the top.
